CFPC Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program Award

UBC team for Dr Bob Bluman, CCFP, FCFP Vancouver, BC and the Kristina Korownyk for Alberta College of Family Physicians (ACFP)

Supported by the College of Family Physicians of Canada

This award recognizes a Mainpro+® certified educational program that has provided an exceptional learning experience to practising or practice-eligible CFPC members. The award will be presented to the individual or group responsible for the design, development, and implementation of the winning CPD program.

Nomination Process

Nominations for this award are invited from CFPC members in good standing who have done the following:

  1. Registered and participated in the CPD program that has been nominated
  2. Actively participated in the development and/or delivery of the CPD program nominated


  1. Acted as the CFPC Mainpro+ reviewer for the CPD program nominated

Nominations must reach the CFPC National Office by March 1, 2017, 4pm EST/EDT.

Please note: Application window opens on December, 9th, 2016

Selection Process

The CFPC’s National Committee on Continuing Professional Development (NCCPD) will review and rank eligible programs. Post-program evaluations, completed by physicians who have participated in the program, will be used to help determine the overall score of the program.

The NCCPD will recommend the recipient for the award to the national Honours & Awards Committee. Nominees will be informed of the results in July.
