Certification Process and Assessment Committee

The Certification Process and Assessment Committee (CPAC) is a sub-committee of the Board of Examiners that defines Evaluation Objectives and strategies to enhance the assessment of competence in family medicine for the purposes of learning and certification.

CPAC is currently finalizing the document that outlines a system of Continuous Reflective Assessment for Training (CRAFT), which represents a cohesive approach to programmatic competency-based assessment for residents in training. The committee is also working on the review of Evaluation Objectives, including the assessment of procedural competence.
