Acknowledgements The Working Group wishes to acknowledge the tremendous
support and encouragement provided by both the College of Family Physicians of
Canada and the Society of Rural Physicians of Canada. Dr. Cal Gutkin, Executive
Director of the College of Family Physicians of Canada, Dr. Francine Lemire,
President of the College of Family Physicians of Canada, Dr. Peter Newbery,
President-Elect of the College of Family Physicians of Canada, Dr. Keith
MacLellan, Past-President of the Society of Rural Physicians of Canada and Dr.
Patricia Vann, President of the Society of Rural Physicians of Canada were
