This is the finding addressed in the new Joint Position Paper on Rural Maternity Care issued today by the College of Family Physicians of Canada, the Society of Rural Physicians of Canada, the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada, the Canadian Association of Midwives, and the Canadian Association of Perinatal and Women’s Health Nurses.
