Primary Care Networks (PCNs)

There are 44 PCNs throughout Alberta currently. About 80% of eligible family physicians are working in PCNs. Every PCN is unique because it is developed locally by area family physicians in cooperation with the local health region and other health professionals such as nurses and dietitians. This grassroots approach allows—and encourages—the PCN to focus on the needs of the local patient population. More information
