Certification exams are coming soon—make an impact and become a CFPC examiner today!
The College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)’s Board of Directors is composed of 12 Directors: four Officers (Directors holding the offices of the President, President-Elect, Past President, and Honorary Secretary-Treasurer) and eight Directors-at-Large. One of the 12 Directors must be a family physician in their first five years of practice or in family medicine residency. The Executive Director/CEO and Director of Governance and Strategic Planning also work with the Board (in a non-voting capacity).

CFPC members are responsible for electing the Board of Directors. CFPC members elect individuals they trust to provide informed oversight, passionate stewardship, and sound decision making as an essential part of securing a vibrant future for the CFPC. Voting is both a right and a responsibility.

The CFPC’s goal is to have strong and balanced leadership, and the nomination process helps us get there. Elections are held on an annual basis.
