British Columbia College of Family Physicians’ Family Medicine Conference offers additional Practising Wisely workshop

Delegates attending the British Columbia College of Family Physicians (BCCFP)’s Fall Family Medicine Conference have the opportunity to sign up for an additional Practising Wisely workshop.

The conference takes place on October 28th and 29th in Vancouver, and the separate one-day Practising Wisely workshop is available on October 27th.

The Practising Wisely: Reducing Unnecessary Testing and Treatment workshop offers an inspiring day devoted to information about implementing the Practising Wisely approach, aligning closely with the Choosing Wisely Canada campaign. The workshop enables delegates to earn up to 18 Mainpro+® certified credits, in addition to the credits available for attending the conference. If you are interested in the Practising Wisely workshop, you can register and find out more here.

The full conference program features more than 20 sessions on topics that range from what you “kneed” to know about acute knee pain to an overview of the essential apps and technologies that can help family physicians optimize patient care.

The BCCFP website has links to the conference registration and details on accommodations.
