The Self Learning™ Program is a continuing professional development (CPD) program the College of Family Physicians of Canada produces. It allows physicians to evaluate their knowledge and receive information about clinical topics featured in the current medical literature.

      The CFPC’s Relationship With the Health Care/Pharmaceutical Industry

      CFPC has expended a significant amount of resources on understanding the potential consequences and benefits of the pharmaceutical industry’s sponsorship of CPD. We are certain that our 35,000 members are reassured to know that the CFPC is taking an evolutionary approach and is proceeding with handling health care and pharmaceutical industry funding in a way that meets the expressed opinions of members (for example, our ePanel poll). We continue to enforce rigorous policies and standards.

Our Indigenous Health Working Group (IHWG) brings together champions in this area who facilitate and contribute to the CFPC’s many efforts to achieve equitable health outcomes.
