Dr. Naila Kassam

Originally from British Columbia, Dr. Naila Kassam is a family physician in Toronto, Ontario. In addition to her medical background, she holds a master of business administration degree and works in the health care operations consulting arm at KPMG with the goal of improving and strengthening health care systems. Alongside her consulting work, she continues to practise full-scope primary care in the community and is an adjunct professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Western University.

Dr. Kassam’s interests include women’s health advocacy, medical education, and public policy. She also has a keen interest in technology within the medical sphere and enjoys writing about the intersection of artificial intelligence and medicine.
