Who we are

The Enhanced Skills Surgery Program Committee discusses and makes recommendations to the Section of Communities of Practice in Family Medicine related to these activities:

  • Communications and networking among members involved in Enhanced Skills Surgery
  • Development of CFPC policies and/or positions related to patient care and the practice needs/environment of members involved in Enhanced Skills Surgery
  • Advocacy on behalf of the members involved in the area of Enhanced Skills Surgery
  • Identification of areas in need of accredited continuing medical education (CME)/continuing professional development (CPD) programs related to Enhanced Skills Surgery

The Enhanced Skills Surgery Program Committee was established under the Section of CPFM in 2014.
