Who we are

The Hospital Medicine Program Committee was established under the Member Interest Groups Section (MIGS). Family physicians with a special interest or focused practice in hospital medicine who are seeking networking and communications with similar physicians, can provide their name and contact information to the MIGS.

  • Communications and networking among members involved in Hospital Medicine
  • Development of CFPC policies and/or positions related to patient care and the practice needs/environment of members involved in Hospital Medicine
  • Advocacy on behalf of the members involved in Hospital Medicine
  • Identification of areas in need of accredited continuing medical education (CME)/continuing professional development (CPD) programs related to Hospital Medicine
