Quebec College of Family Physicians
Partnership between the Quebec College of Family Physicians and TopMF!
The Quebec College of Family Physicians (QCFP) recently announced a partnership with TopMF, a collective of passionate people working toward improving knowledge transfer in family medicine formed from evidence-based medicine. It is offered in French and follows the highest continuous training criteria so participants can claim credits, is offered without industry influence, and is available online! Subscribe to this knowledge transfer platform created by family physicians for family physicians and take advantage of an associate pricing!
Reminder—Annual Assembly of Members
The COVID-19 pandemic health crisis has forced us to reschedule our Annual Meeting of Members originally planned for June 12, 2020. It will instead be held as a live webinar this fall on September 18, 2020, at 12:00 p.m. (ET). More details will be announced in a timely manner.
The QCFP 2020 Awards Ceremony
Our award winners deserve to be honoured! This is why, in the context of this crisis, we have decided to push back to 2021 the official awards ceremony originally planned for June 2020. We will keep you informed of all the details.

The deadline to submit applications for the Conseil québécois de développement professionnel continu des médecins (CQDPCM) awards has been pushed to September 1, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
British Columbia College of Family Physicians
Mark your calendar!
Mark Friday, October 9, 2020, for the next British Columbia College of Family Physicians (BCCFP) Family Medicine Conference. This year’s conference will take place as an online event.
The conference will include presentations about pressing topics in family medicine in British Columbia and beyond. The conference will cover a wide range of topics, such as cultural humility and diversity, managing grief, pitfalls in cancer screening, child and youth mental health, the impact of climate change on health, lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic, and more.* Virtual breakout groups will provide participants with opportunities to focus their learning in areas of interest and specialization.
The BCCFP Annual General Meeting will also take place virtually as part of the online conference.
