British Columbia College of Family Physicians
Family Medicine Conference - Friday, October 9, 2020
The British Columbia College of Family Physicians (BCCFP) is excited to share the lineup for the 2020 Family Medicine Conference. Online registration is now open!
The keynote speaker is Dr. Mamta Gautam, a psychiatrist, executive coach, author, consultant and speaker who specializes in keeping well professionals well. Dr. Gautam’s presentation is “Maintaining Wellness in Times of Change.”
This year’s conference explores how everyone can work Together Towards a Better Future. Diverse plenary sessions and breakout sessions will support family physicians in caring for the whole person … and caring for themselves. Attendees will have the option to tailor their experience to their own interests, from climate change, to maternity care, to grief management, and more.
The conference is a full-day virtual event. This one-credit-per-hour Group Learning program has been certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada and the BCCFP for up to 5.25 Mainpro+® credits.
Nova Scotia College of Family Physicians
The Nova Scotia College of Family Physicians (NSCFP) is hosting their Family Medicine Conference and Annual Meeting on Friday, October 23, 2020. This is a live online learning opportunity. Tentatively scheduled topics include:
- Non-invasive Prenatal Testing
- Biologics
- Cannabinoid Hyperemesis
- Exercise is Medicine
