Prince Edward Island College of Family Physicians

On January 30th Dr. Kristy Newson, President of the Prince Edward Island College of Family Physicians (PEICFP) and Heather Mullen, CFPC Health Policy Analyst, Atlantic Chapter Support met with Minister of Health and Wellness the Honourable James Alyward, Deputy Minister Mark Spidel, Assistant Deputy Minister Deborah Bradley, and Director of Health Services Dr. Kathy McNally.

The agenda included a review of the Patient’s Medical Home, primary care planning, electronic medical record program planning, and legal protection of family medicine terms.
