CFPC achieves Great Place to Work Certification

December 8, 2017

Great Place to Work Certified (December 8, 2017, Mississauga, ON) - The College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) is pleased to announce that it has been certified as a Great Place to Work* following an independent analysis conducted by Great Place to Work® Canada. This certification is based on direct feedback from CFPC employees provided through an anonymous survey about the workplace experience.

This achievement marks an important milestone in the CFPC’s commitment to a workplace that is progressive, respectful and supportive of its staff members. Over recent years the College has engaged employees at all levels to develop a culture and values that are priorities for all. Seven core values were identified: Caring, Learning, Collaboration, Responsiveness, Respect, Integrity and Commitment to Excellence. To see these values fully incorporated into the daily work environment, the College must continue its efforts to hire and retain the very best people and provide its ongoing support to them.

“I’m very proud of our accomplishments and the dedicated efforts of all CFPC staff members to contribute to a positive work environment,” states Dr. Francine Lemire, Executive Director and CEO of the CFPC. “A strong team is key to our employee engagement strategy, providing high customer service to our members and working together to achieve the College’s strategic mission. I’ve always known that the CFPC is a great place to work, and now it’s official!”
