The QCFP concluded its ninth mentorship cohort – a successful transition for more than 20 family doctors

We are very pleased to announce the completion of the ninth cohort of our mentorship program. This edition enabled more than 20 family physicians, at different stages of their personal and professional journeys, to navigate periods of transition with greater clarity, confidence, and support. Thanks to the mentoring provided, many were able to strengthen their professional stance and become even more aligned and fulfilled in their daily work as physicians.

We are also happy to announce the start of the 10th cohort, which happened on November 1st. A new adventure is beginning, full of promise and inspiring connections!

Thank you for joining us at Dinner with Docs 2025!

What an incredible Dinner with Docs series it was! This fall, we brought together over 200 medical students and family physicians across four British Columbia communities: Prince George, Vancouver, Kelowna, and Victoria.

These evenings showcased the remarkable diversity of family medicine, from rural emergency care to urban primary care clinics, maternity services to community health programming. Students who attended told us that the conversations left them feeling energized about family medicine’s possibilities, and physicians were reminded why they chose this vital specialty.

Thank you to all the family physicians who took the time to share their journey, and to all the students who joined us with open minds and thoughtful questions.

Stay tuned for our 2026 series dates!
