As a family physician working in northeast Winnipeg since 1983, Dr. Darcy Johnson has enjoyed a diverse career. Over that time, he has been recognized for his work with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)'s Award of Excellence and the Family Physician of the Year – Reg L. Perkin Award in 2009.
Dr. Johnson finds the range of work that he’s done in family medicine as rewarding as the relationships that he’s forged. Over the years he has been president of the Manitoba College of Family Physicians and of Doctors Manitoba, a board member of the CFPC and the Canadian Medical Association, chair of Concordia Hospital’s Department of Family Medicine, the Manitoba councillor for the Canadian Medical Protective Association since 2015, and a member of the Manitoba Medical Review Committee. All of that as well as attending physician at Stony Mountain Penitentiary.

Julie Gauthier is a financial planner who began her career with MD Management Limited in 1994. She has a solid understanding of physicians' careers and life stages, and the experience to meet the needs of students, residents, and practising physicians.
Julie graduated of with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Université du Québec, in Trois-Rivières, and obtained the Investment Advisor designation in1995 and the Financial Planning and Insurance designation in 1997.
Julie is particularly committed to making sure that Quebec's specific financial planning needs are met. Since 2022, she has also been Senior Manager for the Centralized Planning team, which provides direct support to Advisors in the preparation of financial plans.
In her spare time, Julie enjoys spending time with her daughters and nieces, and in the summer is a happy passenger on her partner’s motorcycle.

Jean-François Bordeleau, or JF, has spent the last 30 years in the financial services industry. Early in his career he developed a passion for educating people and since then has been a coach to MD Advisors in addition to being a regular speaker for investment-themed client events. Over the years, JF authored several pieces speaking to investment diversification, the importance of being invested, the pitfalls of “hot” or “trendy” investments and, most recently, he has maintained MD’s Tariff Watch blog — a weekly summary of global trade and equity market events.
JF is a graduate of McGill University, where he studied real estate and international finance.
