The QCFP expresses its deep concern about Bill 106

Prise de position - Projet de loi n 106

The Quebec College of Family Physicians (QFPC) has taken an official position on Bill 106—An Act mainly to establish the collective responsibility and the accountability of physicians with respect to improvement of access to medical services—and shared its position statement in a news release.

The QCFP has also submitted a brief on Bill 106 to the Health and Social Services Commission and are closely watching the work of the Commission. Access to care should not come at the cost of quality, high-value care and the doctor-patient relationship.
