National Volunteer Week 2026
2026-04-20
Dear colleagues,
This week—National Volunteer Week—we are celebrating our colleagues who give their time to champion family medicine excellence through their commitment to the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC), our professional home.
This year’s theme is “Ignite Volunteerism,” which inspires people to reconnect with their community through action and support, something family physicians do every day!
Last year more than 500 people shared their enthusiasm, expertise, and knowledge with our specialty by serving on committees, the Member Interest Groups Sections, working groups, and the Board of Directors. This work strengthens family medicine by supporting colleagues, communities, and the profession.
Thank you for everything you do for the CFPC, for your colleagues, and for the communities you serve.
