      The College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) has been working collaboratively with the Centre for Effective Practice (CEP) since 2016 to develop tools and resources that support family physicians and other primary care providers in their daily clinical practices.

      (December 8, 2017, Mississauga, ON) - The College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) is pleased to announce that it has been certified as a Great Place to Work* following an independent analysis conducted by Great Place to Work® Canada. This certification is based on direct feedback from CFPC employees provided through an anonymous survey about the workplace experience.

        CFPC Position Statement supports access to EMR data for quality improvement and research

        The College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) today released a new position statement related to access to electronic medical records (EMRs) to support practice-level quality improvement (QI) activities and research in family medicine and primary care. The statement is supported by the Canadian Primary Care Sentinel Surveillance Network (CPCSSN) and the University of Toronto Practice-Based Research Network (UTOPIAN).

          Dr. Guillaume Charbonneau received his medical degree from the University of Montreal in 2004. In 2006, he completed his family medicine residency training at the Université de Sherbrooke and received Certification in the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP).
