The Changing the Way We Work (COVID-19) Community of Practice for family physicians, created in partnership with OCFP and University of Toronto’s Department of Family and Community Medicine held its latest sessions on April 5th and 26th. Newly released! The Montreal Declaration on High-Value Care

On April 4th, the Quebec College of Family Physicians (QCFP) released the Montreal Declaration on High-Value Care. Eighteen partner organizations also signed the Declaration. “This declaration is paving the way to make appropriateness one of the pillars of the health care and social services system in Quebec”, said the President of the QCFP, Dr. Alain Papineau. We encourage you to read the open letter from the QCFP president, Dr. Alain Papineau, that was published in La Presse following the 2024 CaRMS match results. “Does this really come as a surprise to us? I don’t think so. We take in the results, and then we get back to work to try to attract a few more residents during the second round in April.”
