Contemporary Topics in Early Antenatal Care: A Practical Course for Providers is an interactive online course created for family doctors involved in any level of obstetrical care.

Five modules cover a range of practical topics including aneuploidy screening, early bleeding management, management of hypertension, and thyroid disease.

The course is available 24/7 at https://maternityelearning.cfpc.ca and is currently available until April 2020.

This online one credit-per-hour Self-Learning program has been certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada for up to seven Mainpro+ credits.

Early registrants are eligible for a free copy of Healthy Beginnings (5th edition) by the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada.

Course content was developed in partnership with the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada and input was received from the Canadian Association of Perinatal and Women’s Health Nurses and the Canadian Association of Midwives.

The CFPC is dedicated to providing quality CPD and clinical resources for family physicians.
