Board of Examinations and Certification
Who we are
The Board of Examinations and Certification (BEC) is responsible for all national examinations and the processes required for the awarding of certificates from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) resulting in members using CFPC designated post-nominal initials. The BEC does so through establishing principles and setting standards, as well as developing policy and strategies for the continuous improvement of examination and assessment processes administered by the CFPC.
