Every year, the Section of Residents (SoR) Council identifies a topic relevant to family medicine education and develops a Guide for Improvement of Family Medicine Training (GIFT). The SoR Council solicits input for the GIFT from program directors, key academic committees from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC), and, most importantly, family medicine residents from across the country.
