FAQ

  • How do I access my online volumes?

Access your online Self Learning account and select ‘Login or Register’ at the top right of the page. You will be asked if you are a College of Family Physician of Canada™ (CFPC) member or a Non-Member Mainpro+ participant. Select yes if you are a CFPC member and you will be prompted to enter your email address and password. This is the same information you use to log in to your CFPC member account.

You can find Self Learning issues available in the ‘My Self Learning Issues’ section of your dashboard. Select an issue in the volume column to open the interactive version or click the icon in the download column to save the issue as a PDF.

  • Will the credits automatically transfer to my Mainpro+ account?

Credits are not automatically transferred to your Mainpro+ account. The interactive version provided on the Self Learning website is for your convenience and learning experience. Credits earned per issue (five certified credits per issue) will be applied to your account after completing the Impact Assessment through your Mainpro+ account. The Self Learning Impact Assessment form is available in the Mainpro+ area where all other CPD credits are claimed.

  • Can I claim certified credits for older volumes?

We have removed the one-year deadline to claim your certified credits. You can now claim credits for any Self Learning volume published within your Mainpro+ cycle dates.

  • Can I purchase a subscription from the previous year and earn credits?

Yes, you can purchase a subscription from the previous year to earn credits as long as the issues purchased are not more than one year old. Please check the publication date before purchasing back issues. If you are uncertain if an issue is still eligible for certified credits, please contact us at [email protected].

  • Why can’t I see all my Self Learning volumes in Mainpro+?

The dropdown menu for the Self Learning Impact Assessment will show issues that have not expired. If in fact they have not expired and are still not visible, please reach out to us at [email protected] or 1-800-397-6197, ext. 441.
