- CFPC Special Designations: Use of applicable Special Designations such as Certification in the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP), Fellowship in the College of Family Physicians of Canada (FCFP), or CCFP plus Certificates of Added Competence (CACs) after meeting specific requirements. These Special Designations are symbols of excellence in family medicine recognized worldwide. Special Designations signify to patients and peers that members have met high standards for training and are committed to lifelong learning.
